Canada Provincial Nomination Program (PNP)

Provincial Nominee Program is an essential pathway to Canada Permanent Residence. It allows Canada to nominate immigrants who wish to immigrate to Canada as per their province/territory interest. Each Canadian province and territory has its unique provincial nominee program except Quebec and Nunavut which has a different selection system. Each Provincial Nominee program should have a minimum of one immigration stream aligned with the Federal Express Entry stream.

These streams are called as the Enhanced Nomination Streams and candidates get 600 additional points towards their Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) Score on getting a successful nomination certificate.

Here is the list of Provinces/Territories holding their unique PNPs. Browse as per your choice.

Applying for Provincial Nomination for Canada Permanent Residency

Provincial Nominee programs across Canada make Canada Permanent Residence more accessible by actively seeking and retaining foreign nationals. Whether you obtain your provincial certificate through Express Entry or outside of it, you have to submit a separate application for Canada PR status to Immigration, Refugee, and Citizenship Canada (IRCC).

Quebec and Northern Canada Territory of Nunavut don’t have any PNP. Instead, they have established their own selection criteria for all economic immigrants who want to reside in Quebec.
